Dr. Andrea Mandelbaum Smith
Owner / Dentist
Dr. Andrea Mandelbaum Smith has been passionate about dentistry and becoming a dentist since high school. She completed an Honours degree at York University majoring in Biology and minoring in Psychology. Andrea was overjoyed when she was accepted to Dental School at the University of Western Ontario where she received her DDS diploma in 2009. After two years of practicing as an associate dentist in the GTA, Dr. Andrea Mandelbaum Smith discovered an opportunity to practice in Keswick in the winter of 2011. During this time, Dr. Mandelbaum Smith developed a personal connection to many of her patients and a general fondness towards the residents of the Keswick community. Then in 2014, Andrea had a great stroke of luck with the chance to open a dental office of her own. So began her journey and Passion-Project; Cook’s Bay Dental. Today, Andrea is thrilled to be able to serve the residents of Keswick and surrounding towns; seeing friendly familiar faces and building new life-long relationships. Dr Mandelbaum Smith lives in Vaughan with her husband and two young children. Andrea likes trying new foods, dreaming about vacations and spending time with her extended family when she’s not working her two full time positions; Dentist and Mom.
Dr. Ronit Weizblit
Dentist
Dr. Ronit Weizblit graduated from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry in 2009 after completing an Honours degree in Kinesiology and Health Science. She completed further training at The Mount Sinai Hospital general residency program in New York City. While there, she developed experience with craniofacial trauma, oral surgery, oral cancer, paediatrics, and general dentistry. Dr. Weizblit regularly attends continuing education courses in order to offer a high quality of care. She has completed a mini residency in implant placement, courses in endodontics (root canals), surgical extractions, and crowns. Dr. Weizblit is further trained in the use of soft tissue lasers for gingival recontouring and minimally invasive surgical procedures. She has extensive experience with esthetic dentistry, including veneers.
Dr. Weizblit is passionate about providing complete dental care to people of all ages in a calming environment. Dr. Weizblit speaks three languages and loves to keep active. When not at the office, she enjoys swimming, hiking trips, cooking, and volunteering her dental services abroad in foreign countries.
Kelley
Office Manager
Kelley has been a valued team leader since the office opened in 2014. Kelley has worked in the dental field since graduating with honors from Seneca College in 2005. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Cook’s Bay Dental. She had worked her way up over the years as a Dental Administrator, Hygiene Coordinator, Treatment Coordinator to Office Manager.
Kelley grew up in the area and is a familiar face within the community.
In her spare time, Kelley loves to spend time outdoors playing competitive baseball, kayaking and traveling with her husband, two children and their dogs, Kevin (Black Lab) and Gary (Golden Retriever).
Jenny
Hygiene Coordinator
Jenny joined the team in 2017 and has been a shining star ever since! Jenny graduated with honours in 2013 from Loyalist College in TV and New Media.
If she looks familiar, it is likely because she was a staple at the Gem Theatre for almost 13 years.
In her free time, Jenny enjoys to cook for her family, watching movies and dancing.
Casey
Registered Dental Hygienist
Casey has been a valued team member since our office first opened in 2014. Casey first graduated as a Dental Assistant in 2005 and has worn many hats over the years. She has experience as a Dental Assistant, Dental Administrator, Treatment Coordinator and Hygiene Coordinator. She returned to school further her education and graduated as a Registered Dental Hygienist in 2011.
Casey enjoys getting to know all of her patients individually in order to provide the highest quality care.
Kristy
Registered Dental Hygienist
Kristy first joined our team in 2017 as part time and quickly became one of our full time Hygienists. She graduated with an Advanced Diploma of Dental Hygiene from Georgian College in 2014. After graduating, she completed the Mentorship Program through the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario to become a Self-Initiated Dental Hygienist.
Kristy loves to educate her patients in a fun and easy way with a smile on her face. She is an active member of the Ontario Dental Hygienists Association and always seeks out opportunities to further her knowledge by attending conferences and courses.
When she is not working, Kristy loves to travel and be outdoors, especially swimming in the summer time.

Brooke
Certified Dental Assistant, Level ll
Brooke has been an essential member of our team since 2019. Brooke graduated the Level ll Dental Assistant program from Georgian College in 2016.
When she is not working, she loves spending time with her Golden Retriever, Summer. Brooke enjoys many outdoor activates such as camping and fishing in the summer months.
Cassidy
Sterilization Technician
After many years in the Customer Service Industry, Cassidy made the switch to dental in 2022. She quickly learned the required skills to become a successful Sterilization Technician.
During her free time, Cassidy loves to be outside with her family. She enjoys playing hockey and baseball in our local leagues.
Sabrina
Administration
Sabrina comes to us with over 15 years of Customer Service experience, 6 of those years as a Dental Administrator! Sabrina graduated in 2011 as a Level II Dental Assistant and loves the dental field.
In her spare time, Sabrina enjoys spending time with her family, including her 3 kids as well as her friends. Sabrina loves spending as much as she can outdoors during the summer months, keeping busy!!
Hal-Lee
Administration
After graduating from Seneca College in 2014 with a diploma in Executive Office Administration, Hal-Lee worked in the Health and Wellness field before making the switch to dental in 2022. She brings years of experience in customer service.
In her spare time, Hal-Lee loves to bake, play baseball, hang out with her dog Remi and cat Charlie and of course her fiancé too!
